FOR CAMDEN, AND EVERY LIFE TOUCHED BY CANCER

COLLEEN'S WHY

I started running in 2017 for personal health reasons. I quickly realized the physical and mental
benefits. I also uncovered a passion for running, and more importantly a passion for charity
running. In 2024 and 2025, I ran the Boston marathon with the Dana Farber Marathon
Challenge Team. I raised close to $25,000 for cancer research The Team raised over
$8,000,000 each year to support research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. When my dad
was dying of cancer in 1977, I remember him saying: “I hope there is a cure in your lifetime.”
We are getting there; we need more funding for research to find the cure for all cancers. As VB
eloquently once said, “Let’s kick cancer in the a**!” I am motivated and determined to do my part
to support cancer research and find the cure.

On October 25th, I will be running the Marine Corp Marathon in memory of Camden Bailey, and
to raise money for his Foundation. I will be running with three outstanding young men- Michael
Seavey, Sam Seavey, and Kyle Stearns- as Team Camden Bailey Quest2Cure Osteosarcoma.
My inspiration for running, my brother Bill Troy, who has run 27 Boston marathons for Dana
Farber Cancer research, will also be running with us. It is an honor and a privilege to support
this important cause. Please consider making a donation in memory of Camden and others who
have been impacted by cancer. Our team goal is to raise $12,000 for the Camden Bailey
Cancer Foundation. We appreciate your support for this important cause.

SAM, MICHAEL AND KYLE'S WHY

Sam, Michael and Kyle grew up with Camden and the Bailey family. Through years of sports and growing up together, we always admired Camden's strength, leadership, and the way he inspired everyone around him. Running the Marine Corps Marathon is our way of honoring Camden, supporting a family that has meant so much to us, and helping create hope for others facing osteosarcoma.
