FOR MY FATHER-IN-LAW AND ALL THOSE WHOSE LIVES HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY CANCER

This marathon is more than a race—it is a tribute to strength, courage, and the lives affected by cancer.

Cancer has touched my life through people I care deeply about, and their experiences have shown me both the fragility and strength of life. I am running in memory of my father-in-law, whose life was defined by joy, strength, and the ability to bring our family together. He filled every room with laughter, and his presence is deeply missed every day. After bravely facing prostate cancer, we hoped the battle was behind him—but when it returned as osteosarcoma, he met it with the same courage and spirit that defined his life.

Through this marathon, I am honoring his legacy by supporting the Camden Bailey Cancer Foundation. Every mile I run is a tribute to his resilience, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely. My mission is to help raise awareness and funds so that other families can have more time, more hope, and more moments with the people they cherish.

I run for him, and for all those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
