Husson Field Hockey Awareness Game
Camden's mission lives on. Help carry his vision forward.
On October 13th, the Husson University Field Hockey team will dedicate its Cancer Awareness Game to Camden Bailey and the Camden Bailey Cancer Foundation.
A North Conway, New Hampshire native and friend to many current and former Husson Eagles, Camden was an extraordinary young man whose determination, leadership, and resilience inspired everyone around him. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma at just 14, he endured years of treatment and the partial amputation of his left leg, yet went on to become an All-State quarterback, two-sport varsity captain, class president, and salutatorian before attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
After receiving a terminal diagnosis in December 2024, Camden founded the Camden Bailey Cancer Foundation with the hope of sparing other children and families from enduring what he had experienced. Before his passing in 2025, Camden proudly presented the Foundation's first $40,000 research grant to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, witnessing firsthand the beginning of the difference he hoped to make.
Although Camden lost his battle with osteosarcoma in 2025, his determination to find a cure lives on through the foundation he created. His vision was a future where children no longer have to endure devastating treatments and families no longer have to face the heartbreak of losing a child to this disease.
